The Department of Radiology has an outstanding opportunity open for a Temporary PowerApp & AI Specialist (Sr. Computer Specialist).
The Radiology PowerApp and AI Specialist is a project position expected to last 9 months and is responsible for converting legacy InfoPath forms and SharePoint workflows into modern apps and PowerBI reports ensuring their future usability and portability as well as creating new apps and reports to further the mission of the department. These include but are not limited to the Faculty and Staff Leave and Travel Request form, the Radiology Accounting Tool, and ePAR. There is also work to be done creating dashboards to track departmental progress towards fiscal, productivity and impact goals. In addition this position will work with department faculty, staff, and researchers in implementing AI and Deep Learning strategies for research and academics.
This position requires interfacing with a diverse population including faculty, staff, and researchers across multiple sites both within and outside the department and University of Washington.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities(Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.)
Consultation, Solutions, and Training (50%)
•Meet with faculty, staff and researchers to rapidly prototype and incrementally develop solutions for them in SharePoint, Microsoft PowerApps & Flow, PowerBI, AIDoc, and other appropriate platforms •Maintain and improve current department PowerApps including the Radiology Directory, Body Imaging QA, and IT Toolkit •Provide training and support for end users for the provided solutions •Manage groups and permissions for provided solutions •Work with internal and external resources to build and support the department's •Work with researchers to securely query, store and transmit data from PACS, RIS, AMALGA and other data repositories in support of AI and Deep Learning initiatives •Work with researchers to use and develop AI and Deep Learning tools
System Administration (25%)
•Assist in the Administrating the department's servers and IT infrastructure, including SharePoint, Office365, WSUS/SCCM, Change StudyShare, and others •Develop, update, and document security controls for department servers - this includes preparing comprehensive security control documentation for UW Medicine when necessary •Maintain department computer accounts in Active Directory and create group policies to meet the needs of the department •Develop, maintain, and document backup and disaster recovery plans for departmental servers
Computer Support (25%)
•Resolve desktop support tickets as needed •Assist users with mobile device security •Train coworkers in routine System Administration duties •Support and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related/equivalent education •2 to 3 years of related and/or equivalent experience •Expert in managing computers in Active Directory as well as creating and maintaining Windows Group Policy •Excellent Windows OS, Mac OS, and email support skills •Experience in the creation and modification of InfoPath forms in a SharePoint environment •Experience building and maintaining Microsoft PowerApps and •Flows Proficient at User Training •Proven ability to work both independently and with teams both inside and outside of IT •Experience with SharePoint Server 2010 Security, Backup, and Administration, SharePoint Server 2013/SharePoint Online Security, Backup and Administration, and SharePoint Workflow customization •Experience with Powershell Scripting as well as Microsoft SQL & MySQL •Experience with Windows Server Virtualization, Hyper-V •Experience with TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager), Mobile Device Security, Server Security Audits, Wordpress, and AV support
