UROGYNECOLOGIST, DIVISION OF UROGYNECOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS, GYNECOLOGY AND REPRODUCTIVE SCIENCES UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California San Francisco seeks a board certified/eligible urogynecologist at the level of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
Responsibilities: The primary focus of the Urogynecologist will be the clinical care of urogynecologic patients at UCSF. Clinical responsibilities will include office practice in urogynecology, office-based procedures, and gynecological surgery.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an aptitude for and dedication to medical education including direct teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Candidates must have demonstrated capability and experience in providing evidence-based and patient-centered ObGyn care and in collaborating and coordinating care in clinical teams that enhance the patient experience with a commitment to excellence in clinical care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
If selected, the faculty is expected to apply for a CA medical license and be licensed to practice medicine in California by the time of appointment.
Qualifications: •MD or DO (or equivalent) •Board certified or board eligible in Ob/Gyn •Board certified or equivalent or board eligible in Urogynecology
Additional Qualifications: •Experience in professional clinical practice and leadership, post training preferred. •Demonstrated cultural competence in working with culturally diverse trainee and patientpopulations. •Knowledge or experience in the provision of urogynecology services in an acute hospitalsetting.
Salary and academic rank will be at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, commensurate with experience and achievements.
