Summer Events Assistants will be responsible for supporting summer programming occurring on STLCOP campus over the summer, including various third party summer camps. These camps include Mad Science Camps, Crayola Camps, Little Medical School Camps, and Varsity Cheer camps. This role will also provide support for on-campus events such as conferences and other events during the week. This position is a mixture of duties, depending on the type of camp and type of support needed each week. Two shifts are available: 7:30am to 12:30pm and 12:30pm to 5:00pml. Work will be from Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, August 14. Pay is $12 per hour. Priority will be given to current St. Louis College of Pharmacy applicants.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
Assisting with check-in and check-out for campers and event attendees
Help with room set-up for events
Administrative and recording keeping
Planning and overseeing camper activities during before and after care
Ensuring camper safety and monitoring activities
Following safety and emergency procedures and guidelines
Acting as an STLCOP representative to campers, parents and guardians, faculty and staff
Qualifications and How to Apply

Experience working in childcare or with children
Customer service oriented, including thoughtful, friendly, and courteous
Positive role model and mentor
Detailed-oriented and organized
Written and verbal communication skills
Successfully complete background check and working with minors training program.
