We are accepting applications for a full-time position as Registered Nurse (BSN) in the Office of Counseling and Health Services.
Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (BSN) is expected to perform tasks requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, physical and social sciences in the assessment, planning, intervention and treatment of patient care. The Registered Nurse (BSN) efficiently participates as team member to coordinate and deliver quality and holistic patient care, while using critical thinking skills for decision making processes. Performance of duties and conduct in the work place should comply with professional standards, federal and state regulations, and institutional policies. The Registered Nurse (BSN) will be assigned to an area of concentration (provider team or float nurse) based upon the needs within the unit.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and Kentucky RN Licensure. Must have and maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Desired Qualifications: Prior experience in college health or family/public health nursing. Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR). Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS).
