Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration of the Katz School, the Business and Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all essential administrative services including but not limited to human resources, business services, and records management in the Katz School with locations on the Beren and Wilf Campus.
Position Responsibilities: Human Resources
Compose Hiring Letters (student and adjunct faculty)
Assist with the onboarding of student workers and adjunct faculty
Update payroll records and ensure accuracy
Process payroll forms
Overseeing time and attendance records for the school
Financial data entry and reports
Processing requisitions and invoices using the University system (SciQuest)
Draft and review of legal agreements
Reconciliation of accounts
Act as a liaison with facilities, IT, HR, Procurement and other central offices
Manage contact lists
Request Meeting and Event Space
Distribute appropriate announcements, policy updates, etc.
Other duties or projects as assigned
Experience & Educational Background:
Bachelors degree required
2+ years relevant administrative experience supervising departmental operations
Ability to provide advice, problem solve and interact with individuals at all levels
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
Strong word processing skills, experience with Excel spreadsheets, data entry, email, and other web-based computer application programs
Experience in higher education or non-profit environment
Must be organized and able to manage competing priorities in a high volume workload
