Posting Summary: The Department of Educational Leadership at Tennessee State University is seeking to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of AssitantAssociate Professor to teach graduate level courses in univariate/multivariate analysis (including SEM, HLM, logistical regression) and research methods.
The applicant must have competence with the use of research statistical software applications, particularly SPSS. The applicant must have the ability to teach graduate level statistics within the Departments of Educational Leadership, Teaching and Learning, as well as Psychology.
The position also requires advising and mentoring of students, a focused program of scholarly research and publications, serving as chair and/or member of doctoral dissertations committees, and participating in university, college, and departmental service.
Teaching responsibilities will include teaching courses on the main campus, the Avon Williams Campus, off-campus sites, and online. The successful candidate must be committed to working effectively with students, evidence of effective collaboration with a diverse population of students and colleagues.
