Teaching general education composition and literature courses; service to the department and university; mentoring of embedded tutors and/or graduate teaching assistants; outreach to other programs across the university.
Terminal degree in English or related field or masters' degree in English or related field plus significant experience teaching at the college level by time of appointment; demonstrated excellence in and commitment to undergraduate teaching and general education; experience serving underrepresented minority students; experience working with underprepared students; and record of or enthusiasm for significant professional service activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
