The Senior Flight Instructor provides flight instruction per Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA )guidelines 61 and 141 in both the classroom and flight laboratories; evaluates student performance as a check instructor; tests students for knowledge; makes recommendations for further training; maintains accurate records; assists Chief instructor with TCO revisions; assists with the operation of the FAA Computer-Aided Testing System (CATS) Test Center as acting as test proctor.

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with an instrument rating and a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate; instructional activity within the previous 12 months and experience with a flight school certified through 14 FR Part 141.
Obtain Flight Instructor-Instrument certification; two years of experience as a CFI or 200 hours of dual instruction given; experience with OSU’s 14 CFR Part 141 flight school.
Target Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 Annually
