The Heart Center Research Program, Department of Cardiology is hiring a Clinical Research Assistant I for coordination of quality improvement and clinical research studies related to congenital cardiac catheterization.
Activities include, but are not limited to: data collection, registry management, protocol feasibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibility:
Works independently on data collection and project management for institutional case contribution to a national registry aimed at addressing multiple quality improvement initiatives within the catheterization lab.
In collaboration with supervisor, data collection activity including REDCap database management, data collection and analysis, table and figure creation, and other related duties as requested.
Devise efficient and secure techniques for quality and accurate data collection
Is the initial contact for the Institutional Review Board and is responsible for the preparation of IRB applications and amendments. In collaboration with supervisor, develops and implements systems and protocols to manage study operations and data collection while meeting data collection targets and adhering to human protection and good clinical practice guidelines.
Maintains accurate, up-to-date and organized study records. Performs data entry and cleaning and basic quantitative analyses.
Maintains an organized working environment.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Establishes and meets deadlines.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related science.
