Manage the administrative operations and departmental activities of Basic Science & Craniofacial Biology at the College of Dentistry including coordination of departmental events and academic/educational functions. Manage the faculty academic enhancement accounts and partner with department manager to formulate guidelines for their corresponding fiscal activities. Act as administrative liaison with other College and University offices, interpret and apply University policies to plan and handle moderately complex administrative matters.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 2+ years of relevant administrative, budgetary, supervisory and student advisement experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience in an academic or healthcare environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate information to a diverse population at all levels. Knowledge of standard office software. Utmost tact, absolute discretion, and trustworthiness in dealing with confidential materials.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access). Experience maintaining a web site.
