This position will serve as a member of the UNL Research Finance team. The position will provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, and answers to questions from unit staff. Assist with the preparation, submission and management of sponsored proposals as needed. Position will assist with financial reports as well as assist with the budgeting and rate development for UNL research center core facilities. Position will also serve as a backup coordinator/office manager during times of extended absences or during times of turnover.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business related field plus 3 years of work experience in a university setting required; equivalent education/experience considered. Working knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles necessary. Experience multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with deadlines required. Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred. More than 3 years of work experience in a university setting helpful. Prefer experience with grant management and/or knowledge of federal regulations.
Posted Salary: $45,000 minimum
