Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
A NIH-funded postdoctoral position in cell signaling is available immediately. Our laboratory is interested in how protein fatty acylation contributes signal transduction in a variety of areas including cell death, immune function, trauma, and cardiac hypertrophy. This position will specifically address the enzymatic mechanisms regulating protein acylation/deacylation in T cells and how this contributes to store-operated calcium entry.
A doctoral degree in cell biology, biochemistry, or related discipline is required. Experience in live cell imaging/microscopy is useful but not required. Please contact Dr. Darren Boehning at email@example.com for additional information. Please include your CV and a statement of goals and how they interface with the interests of the laboratory.
Our campus is adjacent to Center City Philadelphia in Camden, NJ. The location is easily accessible by car or train to all major cities in the northeast including Washington DC and New York City.
