Assistant Professor - Urology, Memphis - 20000000CT
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Urology is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor who is interested in reconstructive surgery and trauma. This is a full-time, non-tenure track academic position. This position will be responsible for adult patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and research commitments.
This position will have a clinical practice with our departmental faculty practice plan as well as be involved in our future Comprehensive Men's Health Center. There is also an opportunity to develop a transition clinic in conjunction with our pediatric Urology Division and provide service at the Memphis VA Medical Center.
Requires an MD or equivalent degree, and board certification or board eligibility in urology and fellowship-trained in reconstructive urology and trauma. A background and interest in clinical and basic science research is required. Research time and support will be provided.
Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with experience and credentials.
