The School of Kinesiology occasionally needs teaching specialists, lecturers or visiting faculty to teach courses that cannot be staffed by regular faculty or graduate assistants. This search will establish a "pool" of instructors. Applicants will be selected from that pool on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications may not be acknowledged, but will be reviewed when such openings occur throughout the academic year.
Instructors are appointed on a semester basis, dependent on the teaching needs of the School of Kinesiology. This is a temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) position as a Teaching Specialist or Lecturer paid on a per course basis. Typically, these appointments are made semester by semester and employment is contingent on the course meeting its enrollment target.
