Schedule Information: Monday-Friday. At least one evenings per week required. Some weekends as necessary.

Work Conditions: Must occasionally lift boxes of materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Regularly transport materials to off-campus events and activities. Must set up equipment and materials at both on and off campus events. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
Duties of Position:
Responsible for outreach activities aimed at recruiting individuals to enroll at Harper College.
Meet recruitment objectives and assist in the enrollment goals as established by Harper College, the Director of Outreach and the Admissions Manager.
Integrate and explain policies and procedures of all areas of enrollment services and other closely related areas to all new students. Be able to anticipate students' needs by considering all aspects of the enrollment cycle. This position will be providing this level of service in person, over the phone and over email.
Works with students throughout the enrollment process including a detailed application review with each new student. This engagement also incorporates a thorough discussion regarding areas of interest, placement and payment options for college.
In addition, this position will assist with lead generation and events throughout the year: open house, information sessions, preview days, and financial aid nights.
Applies an in depth knowledge to explain administrative and compliance requirements for federal, state and institutional aid programs.
Utilizes critical thinking, problem solving and experience with student issues to be proactive in addressing potential student concerns, identifying potential barriers within the student enrollment process and initiating steps resulting in resolution.
Makes referrals to faculty, counselors, program coordinators, campus support services, or other resources as needed.
Collaborates closely with key Harper College departments including the Academic Affairs, Admissions Processing, Academic Advising, Center for New Students and Orientation, Testing Center, Onestop and Financial Aid to assure effective student enrollment matriculation.
Participates and attends all scheduled events. Provides post information session report within 24 hours of event completion.
Reviews and provides feedback to Admissions Manager and Marketing Services on all pertinent promotional material and presentations.
Provides critical summary reports on all activities including student inquiries, applications, information meetings and event results.
Serves on appropriate College committees.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or related field required.
Experience Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in educational recruiting or sales. Ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail essential. Must possess strong presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills. Bilingual preferred.
