Essential Functions: The Division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies in the College of Education at Wayne State University is seeking a 9-month Lecturer to provide instruction in the Exercise and Sport Science program area. Ideal candidates will have a broad expertise across the various sub-disciplines (e.g., biomechanics, lifespan growth and development, motor learning and control, exercise prescription, etc.) and experience teaching in higher education. Wayne State University is a R1 institution committed to the production of knowledge and the education of over 32,000 students in the Detroit metropolitan area. The Division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees in Athletic Training, Community Health, Exercise and Sport Science, Health and Physical Education Teaching, and Sport Administration and Management.
