Duties of a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist may include the following but are not limited to:
Inpatient service delivery from infants through geriatrics including evaluation and therapy for swallow and communication disorders.
Inpatient service delivery from infants through geriatrics including speaking valve and tracheostomy tube management.
May be responsible for Videofluoroscopic Swallow studys and/or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of the Swallow for the skilled clinician.
Required Qualifications: MA or MS in Speech Language. NY State License in Speech Pathology. ASHA CCC-SLP certification. At least 1 year of post-graduate Speech Language Pathologist experience. Medical facility Speech Language Pathologist experience. Candidate must meet medical staff qualification for staff privileges.
6 or more months of medical facility Speech Language Pathologist experience.
