Manages technology in support of the activities and needs of Beeghly College of Education (BCOE) and its direct successor units according to all applicable policies, regulations, laws, and other guidelines including those governing Information Technology Services (ITS). Provides superior customer service; optimizes technological solutions, and manages software utilized within BCOE excepting enterprise-wide software. Enables BCOE to better serve undergraduate and graduate academic students, faculty, and staff using current technological solutions. Supports TaskStream, Blackboard, Qualtrics, workflow software, and others as needed. Responsible for data extraction from university-level systems, reporting and analysis using current reporting tools and the appropriate data sources, as well as data extraction from college-level systems and external systems that provide data needed by the college. Acts as an advocate for new solutions through the application of technologies; works closely with ITS and other offices to implement such to support and enhance the business and academic functions of the College affordably and efficiently.
Bachelor's Degree; two (2) years' experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of business applications in a relational database environment; experience using reporting tools; demonstrated experience with SQL, PL-SQL, and/or other relational database tools; experience working in a technically-oriented team environment.
Experience providing operational support for technology related educational software applications; experience with Banner; experience with WebFocus, JasperReports, or similar reporting software.
