The Clinic Nurse Manager holds 24 hour accountability for the quality of student/patient care, the efficiency of operations and the management of staff in all clinical areas. Oversees operations of student/patient care programs at ESHC as well as outreach and the community disaster program.Â The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the health and wellness needs of undergraduate and graduate students.Â The candidate is familiar with industrial injury initial evaluations.Â Directs and supervises clinical staff utilizing nursing practice and provides support, education and training. Supervises the utilization of resources and the application of new technological developments in patient care. Works collaboratively with staff, providers and outside departments to address any issues or concerns. Collaborates with administration and medical staff in organizational goals and meeting appropriate regulatory standards.
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelorâs degree in Nursing required. Master's degree preferredâ¢Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Five years of experience as a Registered Nurse required. Two yearsâ experience managing clinical operations required, preferably in college health or healthcare setting. Experience may be concurrent.Required License/Certification:â¢ Valid California State RN Licensed required.â¢BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association required.â¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. .
