The Research Program on Sustainable Policy and Management in the Earth Institute at Columbia University is accepting applications for the position of Staff Associate.
The Staff Associate will be responsible for providing research support to the Director, Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management, and other Principal Investigators (PI) on a range of activities related to several projects including Sustainable Metrics project; China Cities Sustainability rating project; and the Carbon Catalogue project.
The Staff Associate will assist the Principal Investigators to track and collect data; conduct statistical analysis, and conduct outreach efforts. The Staff Associate will also serve as a conduit between the Research Program and sustainability practitioners and educators, including the instructors of the M.S. in Sustainability Management program, which is offered jointly by The Earth Institute and the School of Professional Studies. The Staff Associate will also assist the Principal Investigators in preparing case studies and presentations on sustainable metric findings that may be integrated in sustainability management curricula.
