The department of Biostatistics within the Graduate School of Public Health is seeking a qualified Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of responsibilities for protocol development for studies conducted by the NRG Oncology. This coordination involves the divisions of Program Applications, Data Management, Computer Systems and Statistics.
This position (Assistant Project Manager of Protocol Development), will support the process of developing data collection instruments and realizing research protocol study build in accordance with protocol aims and in conjunction with NRG Oncology Statistics and Data Management and NRG Oncology Operations Center staff. This position will organize meetings, generate and distribute meeting minutes, track project activities, create data form worksheets, work with standardized tools and software (Medidata Rave and the Oncology Patient Entry Network) to realize the electronic data capture instruments.
This position uses computer applications to do double data entry, process forms/reports/documentation, and pick-up and deliver mail between the Third and Fifth floor offices daily and the Graduate School of Public Health as needed. This position will also coordinate other activities needed to support the conduct of the trials. Attention to detail is critical for the success of this position.
2-3 years of experience working in a research setting or relevant area. Bachelor's degree in research-related major or another discipline with experience in the area of clinical trials development and implementation. Knowledge of medical data collection, medical terminology and coding standards, and project management.
