Dr. Yasemin Copur-Gencturk at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California is seeking one or two postdoctoral fellows to work on several federally funded projects on adult and teacher learning. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a PhD in mathematics education or learning sciences who wishes to develop learning materials and assessment items and analyze data using qualitative and/or quantitative methods. Candidates should have experience and interest in mathematics teacher education and the ability to work with complex data sets.Â The position is based in the Rossier School of Education and has a flexible start date no later than August 2020.
The successful candidate(s) will be expected to collaborate with Dr. Copur-Gencturk and prominent scholars in the fields of education, engineering, and measurement to create learning materials, develop assessment items, investigate the necessary conditions for learning, and collect and analyze data.
