The University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, Department of Preventive Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine, tenure track. The candidate will be expected to conduct studies in cancer epidemiology using cancer registry data and to develop and maintain an independent research program focusing on health disparities, cancer causes, cancer survivorship, and health policy. Â
Minimum Qualifications include having a PhD in epidemiology or related field with five years of post-doctoral training. Candidates should have experience with cancer registry data, cancer causes and consequences, and healthcare policy.Â Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of: acquiring extramural funding for their research, collaborating with other researchers, and addressing health disparities and inequalities in their work.Â Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills, and experience with analysis of multiethnic populations.
