The University of Cincinnati Investment Office is seeking an exceptional individual to manage investment operations within our fast-paced, collegial, high-performing team.
Manage investment operations within the Investment Office and act as the primary information source for all endowment investment accounts.
Serve as the primary liaison for investment managers’ operations teams, UC Treasury and Controller offices, third party administrators, internal/external Legal, risk management, and internal/external audit.
Perform cash forecasting activities including portfolio liquidity modeling, monitoring, and management; private equity budgeting and private equity cashflow monitoring; and reconciliation and reporting, including fee analysis.
Develop and generate investment performance measurement and attribution reports, portfolio performance research reports, and benchmarking and investment portfolio risk reports.
Compile, format, and deliver data for surveys, internal audits, and external audits. Prepare reports on individual endowment funds for deans, donors, and business administrators.
Work with Investment Team to create internal UC reporting including quarterly Investment Committee slide decks. Work with Treasury and Controller on audited financial report footnotes and other external reports.
Work with fund managers, internal legal counsel, and outside legal counsel to execute investment and redemption documentation. Work with Treasury, custodian, and third-party administrators to prepare, enter, monitor, and troubleshoot transactions.
Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures manual. Work with Investment Team to update and maintain CRM system. Analyze third party operations software systems and report to Investment Team.
Perform quarterly compliance review for Tier I of the Temporary Investment Portfolio.
Work with Executive Asst / Office Manager on preparation, management, and reporting of Investment Office budget. Perform financial modeling of real estate assets (in conjunction with Office of Community Development) and private equity quantitative analysis.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years’ experience in an investment, accounting, finance or related field.
Nine (9) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
CIPM, CAIA, or CFA preferred
