The Student Health Center seeks an individual who must evaluate, interpret and make judgment calls regarding laboratory testing. Performs testing procedures in all areas of a MD's office laboratory including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, parasitology, electrocardiograms, and other special procedures. Employee must follow all laboratory and medical policies and procedures related to testing including specimen collection, quality control, quality assurance, result verifications, reporting procedures, infection control, lab safety, and is accountable to the lab supervisor. Must have EMR experience. The position hours are only as necessary to provide coverage when full-time employees are scheduled to be out of the office or unavailable to come to work on a scheduled day. The Student Health Center is open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No weekend or evening hours.
