This role oversees all 30+ Graduate student clubs and organizations within Questrom School of Business, which includes managing all aspects of club events, tracking budget requests, and creating, communicating and implementing club policies. Acting as advisor to the Graduate Council and the main point of contact to all Questrom clubs, the Assistant Director will hold regular meetings with student leaders and University partners and advocate for and communicate the tools, resources, and processes student groups need to succeed. In collaboration with faculty and staff, the Assistant Director will plan all programming and event logistics of the two-week orientation program. In addition, this position will supervise a Senior Program Coordinator working on budget and financial transactions for all student organizations. As a member of the MBA team, the Assistant Director will be responsible for advising a caseload of full-time MBA students. In addition, the Assistant Director will share in the planning and execution of MBA Center sponsored events and operations throughout the year including, but not limited to, re-LAUNCH, graduation celebration event, community events for various MBA programs, curricular coordination, auditing MBA concentrations, and planning and supporting Academic and Career related events.

B.A./B.S. required, Masters Degree in related field preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills, highly organized and the ability to multi-task. One to three years of experience in counseling, student services or higher education administration. Prior event planning experience preferred. Some evening and occasional weekend work required.
