The Human Resources department seeks a P/T Human Resources Office Assistant (WP) who will provide clerical/administrative support, including assistance with data entry, typing, faxing, filing, archiving, shredding, and organizing supplies. The incumbent will assist in the preparation of documents for employee-related orientations, events, trainings, and mailings. The Assistant will also provide coverage of the Human Resources front desk by answering & directing calls and receiving customers, ascertaining their business and directing them accordingly. Additional duties, as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is Monday-Friday: 28 hours per week, flexibility required.
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: The hourly rate of pay is $13.60 per hour. No benefits.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a high school or equivalency diploma and 3 years of experience where the primary function of the position was performing general office/clerical work, 2 years of which must have included the use of computer applications to maintain automated records or produce correspondence, spreadsheets, forms, reports or other documents. The successful candidate must be able to handle busy, multi-lined phones and work independently. Strong interpersonal skills are required. $13.60/hour. No benefits.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: HR experience preferred. Experience working within a confidential environment also preferred.
