Position Summary: The Humanities Department has three openings for Lecturers in our First Year Writing program. The lecturer will teach Humanities general university requirement (GER) writing courses. The writing courses are mainly HUM 101 and HUM 102 (first year writing) but may include advanced courses in technical writing and various courses in ESL. The ULreports to the Chair of the Department of Humanities and to the Faculty Coordinator of First Year Writing.
Prerequisite Qualifications: Previous experience teaching first year writing at the college level; a Master's Degree in Writing & Rhetoric, English, or a related area is required.
