Provide direct clinical services, including phone screenings, intake assessments, brief psychotherapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to a diverse undergraduate and graduate student population.
Provide consultation and training to faculty, administrators, families and students on the mental and emotional health experiences and needs of international students.
Research, develop and implement clinical, population based and primary prevention interventions for engaging and supporting international students
Liaise and collaborate with departments, committees and student organizations that focus on serving international students.
Provide clinical supervision to a clinical extern (second semester).
Participate in CPS training, multidisciplinary and administrative team meetings.
Perform administrative duties as assigned.
Completed doctorate in clinical, counseling or school psychology or related field (ABD candidates may be considered).
Minimum one year of experience and demonstrated competency with providing short-term treatment, outreach and primary prevention in a university mental health setting.
Demonstrated interest, experience and competency in working with international students and inter-cultural dynamics.
Fluency in Mandarin and familiarity with Asian cultures strongly preferred.
Commitment to providing multicultural counseling and conceptualizing from a psychodynamic framework.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse university community of students, faculty, administrators and families.
