UK HealthCare Information Technology has posted the Virtualization Engineer II (Citrix) role. This role will be held accountable for establishing strong credibility & collaboration with our physicians, customers, department leadership, affiliated organizations and I.T. staff members. This is a highly matrixed organization which requires excellent interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing skills, ability to work in large multi-disciplinary teams through significant amount of varied work assignments. The successful Virtualization Engineer II will provide tier 2 support of all IT incidents and requests for UK Healthcare Citrix environment. Primary duties include documentation; problem analysis; design, configuration and project task fulfillment, support of NetScaler systems, and Virtual Applications and Desktops. Citrix Associate Level certifications are required within one year of hire date.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking; analytical and qualitative research skills; be well organized; exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; Microsoft Project and project server application knowledge; above average customer service skills; strong ability to engage and motivate others and develop staff; and active listening skills.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
VMware or Citrix Associate Level certification. Certifications are required within one year of hire date.
Six years of experience in an academic healthcare environment highly preferred.
