East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Department of Pediatrics and Medical Education Assistance Corporation (MEAC) seek a qualified part to full time Academic General Pediatric Physician. Preference will be given to candidates with academic experience and/or community experience. The candidate must be board eligible/board certified in general pediatrics at time of hire. Understanding of residency program requirements, medical student education and bilingual ability preferred.
The Academic General Pediatric Physician position will be an ETSU non-tenure, clinical track faculty appointment contingent on external funding. Responsibilities include delivery of primary care to a diverse population of pediatric patients, coverage of the newborn nursery and teaching of medical students and pediatric residents, as well as other academic pursuits. We provide care to a large geographic region that includes northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Eastern Kentucky and Western North Carolina.
