Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
High School Diploma/GED. Two (2) years of related experience, which may include processing orders, receiving shipments, stocking shelves and/or inventory. Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid NYS Driver's License; have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a pattern of repeat violations. Experience with stockroom operations. Experience with inventory control. Experience with customer service. Experience with retail delivery. Database management experience.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Supply Center Clerk will receive shipments, verify information, stock shelves, and perform deliveries daily. The incumbent will work with various computer software applications including Excel, Word and Google.
Assist in the daily operation of the supply center to include processing orders and performing physical inventory counts.
Responsible for completion of ordering and receiving in financial based software, strict attention to detail is imperative.
Pulling inventory from warehouse shelves to make daily deliveries.
Provide high levels of customer service including answering the phone and assisting customers.
Accompany the vendor to various campus locations to verify cylinder deliveries and assist in the delivery of cylinders (cylinders weigh upwards to 400lbs).
Other duties as assigned.
The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding.
