Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Computer Science, Information Science or a directly-related field OR a Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher degree) in any field and two (2) years of directly-related professional experience.
Prior professional experience in a Business related role. Training experience. Prior experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft. Prior experience in Higher Education. Prior experience working in a Student Billing/Cashiering office.
Brief Description of Duties:
T he Business Systems Coordinator w ill serve as an integral member of the Bursar/Student Accounts team, responsible for providing high-touch technical support and guidance in the setup, testing, navigation, compliance, and training for all tuition and billing-related systems and processes.
Responsible for the technical aspects of tuition calculation setup and all billing related setup in PeopleSoft. Assists with audit of tuition calculation setup and responsible for continuous monitoring of abnormalities/errors and the subsequent correction of those errors. Works closely with the Bursar, Assistant Directors, IT, and other Business System Analysts (BSAs), serving as the point of contact for Bursar/Student Account PeopleSoft setup. Investigates technical issues related to cashiering in PeopleSoft. Assists in the coordination of quality assurance testing for new software and updates to existing software. Creates and maintains queries and provides recommendations for the use of data. Provides additional training on all toolsets and PeopleSoft upgrades.
Form 1098-T Setup & Compliance:
Ensures that the Form 1098-T setup is compliant with current regulations and requirements each semester. Works closely with IT department to complete changes and upgrades in a timely manner. Works closely with the Assistant Director of Student Accounts to test Form 1098-T setup and confirm output accuracy.
Liaison for all Bursar Related Technology Requests:
Serves as the point of contact for the credit card merchant. Works with Bursar vendors such as Flywire, Courier, Touchnet, and others to ensure that University is maximizing services available.
Collections Management :
Works with IT and the Collections Coordinator to maintain the functionality of all collections-related screens and customizations in PeopleSoft. Works to improve existing functionality, with the goal of capturing additional data sets and streamlining the transfer of the collections process.

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
