GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, the instructor is responsible for fostering student learning in the area of parks and natural resources in career and technical education (CTE) for the Agriculture Sciences Department. A course load of 15 credit hours per semester is required. Teaching load will be assigned by the Administration and may include evening courses. Teaching responsibilities will include but not limited to: Park and Recreation Administration, Park Maintenance, Native Plants, Wildlife Management and Natural Resources Appreciation. Must evaluate, record, and report student achievement and progress in assigned courses in accordance with department, division, and college policies and procedures. Responsibilities will also include advising of current and prospective students, and providing assistance in development and implementation of departmental initiatives. Must be responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of an individual Professional Preparation Plan as outlined in the College's Quality Faculty Plan.

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
Bachelor's degree in conservation management, natural resources management, forestry or other programming-related discipline.
Five years of recent, relevant full time work experience.

Community College teaching experience.
