The Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics is now recruiting a Full Specialist. The area of specialization will include ciliary biology. The required qualifications include:
• A PhD-level scientist with at least 4 years of experience in ciliary biology. • Must have at least 6 years of experience working with mice. • Extensive experience (at least 4 yrs) with determination of genetic determinants of ciliopathies. • Extensive experience (at least 4 yrs) examining the function of cilia in signaling. • Extensive experience (at least 4 yrs) identifying the transcriptional control of ciliary signaling.
Preferred Qualifications: • Postgraduate training in field • Familiarity with mechanisms of Hedegehog signaling, the organization and regulation of cilia and ciliogenesis.
