Provide advanced professional administrative and coordination of all phases of a complex program, department, function or unit.
Performs advanced and complex administrative functions in the coordination of a particular program which may include grants and contracts, event planning, research program, project management and/or other similar functions. Informs appropriate administrative and management personnel regarding program operation status and provides appropriate analysis and documentation to ensure program objectives. Recommends and implements procedures to improve processes. Interacts with other university offices, departments and special groups and outside agencies in administering programs and performing required functions. Manage tracking of budget items and may determine expenditures and planning of annual budget for program. Performs complex special projects relating to the program. Supervises assigned staff or student/volunteer workers. Serves on various committees as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree. Four (4) years of program coordination or project management experience or the equivalent experience.
Bachelor's degree and six (6) years related experience or the equivalent experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLSANDABILITIES: Excellent administrative skills. Good business acumen and communication skills. Strong computer experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proven organization and time management skills, adept in project management and multi-tasking.
