JOBSUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Research Assistant supportsactivities of the Tennessee Commission of Aging and Dis-ability project byconducting over-the-phone pre/post surveys assessments with participants of theHabitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis and Westminster Home Connectionprograms.
Explains study objectives and study specific information regarding participation.
Performs data collection via phone by obtaining informed consent.
Interviews participants and administers questionnaire per protocol.
Obtains additional information, as needed, including demographics, physical measurements, feedback and satisfaction.
Schedules participants for visits.
Performs database management by entering data in real-time while interviewing participants, updating database after each participant contact, and assisting with the integration from paper form to database.
Enters data into a database and verifies information for completeness and accuracy.
Performs administrative duties such as maintaining schedule calendar, completing special projects, and attending weekly staff meetings.
Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
