Director of Admissions Operations and Special Programs - (20001167)
The Office of Academic Affairs supports students in the DVM, MS, and PhD programs and manages administrative functions related to students, including admissions, student affairs, curriculum, registrar, financial aid, and the Adventures in Veterinary Medicine program.
The Director of Admissions Operations and Special Programs responsibilities include: acts as primary technical lead and subject matter expert for the Technolutions Slate admissions system. Creates and maintains exports, mapped PDFs, queries and reports, rules, and workflows. Manages build-out of new functionality to support admissions processes. Develops technical documentation and training materials. Develops and implements the Adventures in Veterinary Medicine program, a career exploration program for aspiring veterinarians of all ages; develops marketing strategies, manages admissions process, and designs curriculum. Participates in the reading and evaluation of applications for the DVM program. Supervises employees and students.
Bachelor's degree. Experience maintaining technical configuration of Slate. Experience with data management, i.e., SQL, and web technologies, i.e., HTML, CSS. Valid US drivers license.
Master's degree. Experience in college admissions and/or developing and managing educational programs.
