Job Duties/Responsibilities: 30% - Accreditation and Policy Compliance: Acquire and maintain knowledge and proficiency on current requirements, policies and procedures for the ACGME, ABNS, LCME and other governing bodies. Conduct annual review and updates in partnership with the program director and other education leadership. Manage data and coordinate accurate and timely completion of all required accreditation and program requirements. These requirements include Clinical Competency Committee meetings, annual Program Evaluation Committee meeting, WedADS annual update, ABNS annual program certification, etc.
35% - Residency Program Management: In partnership with the program director, manage all administrative aspects of the training program, which includes: policy manual, curriculum/schedule coordination, clinical and educational work hours monitoring, trainee and program evaluation distribution and review, documentation/file management, trainee time away tracking and verifications, and coordination of department education conferences and events. Department events include: â—‹ Recruitment: Create and implement recruitment plan and timeline and oversee all aspects of this including the selection committee. Coordinate marketing efforts, utilize and manage recruitment software and serve as the point-of-contact for candidates. â—‹ Graduation: Coordinate all aspects of annual department event. Assist with planning event budget and partner with appropriate resources to ensure policy compliance. Partner with the program director to ensure all trainee documentation and requirements are met upon completion of program. â—‹ Orientation: Create and coordinate program orientation for incoming trainees in partnership with the program director, GME office and other stakeholders. â—‹ Weekly conferences: Coordinate scheduling and logistics for weekly education conferences.
15% - Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Program Management: In partnership with the Course Director, manage all administrative aspects of the department UME courses, which includes: curriculum/schedule coordination, student and program evaluation distribution and review and timely grade entry.
20% - Trainee and Department Education Resource: Possess current and accurate knowledge of guidelines and requirements for all trainees and education leadership. Serve as the first point-of-contact for department education requests. Participate in all UMN GME meetings and trainings to maintain direct line of updated information on policies, resources, requirements and requests. Participate in all education related meetings and projects and assist with other duties as they are requested by department and program leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: â— Previous experience with Google Applications (Gmail, Drive, Hangouts, Calendar, Docs, Google+) and conferencing technology. â— Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills. â— Experience with creating and implement implementing data management systems. â— Experience using New Innovations’ Residency Management Suite (RMS). â— Administrative experience in Graduate Medical Education and/or Undergraduate Medical Education.
