Job Summary/Basic Function: General Summary: The Executive Associate to the Provost is to provide an executive level administrative support and customer service to the office of the Provost by performing duties related to the day to day operations of the office.
Essential Job Functions: Provides executive level support and customer service by assisting in the day to day operations; processes and maintains the workflow of paperwork for faculty of the university; keeps detailed files and records to be used for varies reports; places orders for the office and processes invoices; send and respond to incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and/or inner office memos; manages travel and prepares reimbursements for the Provost; takes minutes at meetings; perform special assignments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications: Associates degree or three years of experience in higher education at the level of department administrative lead or higher, other appropriate combination of relevant work experience and educational preparation may be considered. The successful candidate must also possess a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, ability to adapt quickly to change, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel and financial issues, competence with office technology in general and personal computers and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in Excel.
