Department Name: 7H090:CENTER ON DRUG & ALCOHOL RESEA
The UK Center for Drug and Alcohol Research seeks a counselor/therapist [LCSW, LPCC or LMFT] to provide individual and group therapy to patients with a diagnosed substance use disorder, mental health disorders (or related diagnosis).
This individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team of providers to provide comprehensive mental health care for patients in an Ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities will include providing therapy and related services to new and established patients in a collaborative, academic environment, timely preparation of chart notes and submission of billing through the electronic medical record, participating in team/staff meetings.
Preferred candidates will have significant experience providing treatment and therapy to patients with an addiction diagnosis, specifically opioid use disorder patients who are receiving buprenorphine or naltexone pharmacotherapy.
Candidate should possess attention to detail, listening and excellent communication skills.

Candidate should have a Master’s Degree in a Social Work or Counseling related field with two or more years of equivalent related experience preferred.
