Under the direction of the Editor-in-Chief, coordinates production and lay-out of pages for The Literary Review (TLR). Assists with copy flow and manuscript finalization. Contributes editorially. Coordinates or builds digital issues. Assists with digital distribution. Manages Website production and copy flow, accessibility and traffic. Oversees social media.
1.Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, Journalism, Communication, Graphic Design, or related field.
2.Relevant computer experience including Adobe Suite and Word Press.
3.Must possess excellent communications skills, both written and interpersonal. Excellent knowledge of English language, grammar, and stylesheets. Some familiarity with other languages or cultures is desirable.
4.Familiar with best practices for typesetting copyediting, and marketing design.
5.Knowledge of printing production and publishing is desirable.
6.Interest in marketing is desirable. Strong interest in independent publishing is desirable.
7.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
