To serve as an active OB/Gyn physician and educator for the department. The successful candidate will report to the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and hold a faculty appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank relative to qualifications. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position. The position includes clinical practice through the faculty practice plan and will include a significant amount of leadership and administrative responsibility.
EDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS: 1. M.D., MBBS or D.O. degree. 2. Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. 3. Unrestricted Ohio medical license (current or eligible). 4. DEA Registration Number. 5. Assoc Prof: Minimum 7-years post-residency clinical experience; Prof: Minimum 9-years post-residency clinical experience. 6. Experience working in academic medicine in an administrative and/or leadership position with combined administrative, clinical & teaching experience.

1. Candidate possesses interest and ability in clinical/classroom education. 2. Ability/Willingness to cover In-house OB/Gyn service call. 3. Advanced business degree: MBA, MHA, MMM, MPA or equivalent. 4. Interest in clinical/translational quality improvement research.
Essential Functions and percent of time::
20-40%: Administrative; 30-40%: Education/supervision of medical students & residents; 30-40%: Private practice activity, night call. The above percentages are negotiable based on interests.
Outpatient care at Five Rivers Health Center for Women's Healthcare & Wright State Physicians Faculty Practice sites; inpatient and ambulatory care primarily at Miami Valley Hospital and may also include other local hospitals (Miami Valley Hospital South, Kettering Medical Center & Dayton Children's Hospital).
