Academic Program Coordinator/Global Health - (2000004J)
The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) School of Nursing (UMSON) is currently recruiting for a Global Health Program Coordinator . The Global Health Program Coordinator will be an integral part of the Office of Global Health Team and is responsible and accountable for the coordination of daily activities related to the School of Nursing Office of Global Health. Supports OGH's mission to develop global health education, research and practice to the next generation of nurse leaders, support UMSON faculty engage in international scholarship, and engage international visitors and partnerships. Candidate will coordinate the daily administrative operations of the office, manage our international visiting scholars program, liaise with internal and external partners including the Office of International Services, other administrative departments and international partners and visitors to facilitate the work of the OGH. The candidate will also support the day-to-day operations of special projects assigned by senior staff ( Director of Global Health and PPEP Chair) including but not limited to activities related to SON's international visiting programs and social determinants of health administrative taskforce activities.

Apply various procedures, policies, and practices to complete assigned work.
Receive and direct calls and emails to appropriate staff/faculty member.
Process documents requiring knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain paper or electronic filing system.
Edit, format, or revise documents and material created by others.
Schedule appointments or meetings.
Research, analyze, and summarize information for reports and presentations.
Create reports and presentation using Microsoft Office Suite products.
Screen phone and emails and handles procedural and substantive matters and only refers to others as appropriate.
Make and maintain all travel arrangements and travel record keeping.
Suggest, plan, and implement new or revised programs, procedures, practices and organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors in a related field. MPH,or MBA preferred
Experience: One (1) year in work coordination, training, and administrative academic program experience. Experience interacting with academic staff, students, administrators, and external partners. International program experience preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Qualtrics or Survey development and analysis
Excellent communication skills(verbal, social media, emails and web-based interactions).
Ability to liase with administrators and external international partners.
Occasional time flexibility needed to meet with international partners.
