The ClinicalÂ RN Coordinator is a Registered Nurse with recognized leadership abilities and sound clinical skills who will actively assist the Director in Coordinating the day-to-day activities of the unit.Â The Clinical Coordinator takes a leading role in activities in the unit, patient rounding and care, nursing performance improvement, job performance evaluations, staffing, scheduling and working with the directors, employees, and preceptors in the orientation and training of new employees.Â Executes leadership in the following areas:Â Direct/Indirect Patient Care, Support of Systems, Research, Education, and Professional Leadership.Â He/she works collaboratively with the nursing staff, medical staff, educators, managers, and all members of the health care team to accomplish the responsibilities outlined below.Â
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelors Required. Masters PreferredMinimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Two years experience preferred.â¢Two years critical care required.Required License/Certification:â¢Valid California Registered Nursing license.â¢BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.â¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
