Application Developer (Professional Technologist 3) - ITS 12408
Information Technology Services is seeking applications for an Application Developer 3. This position will provide application development support for the University.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Provide application development support in an Oracle/Linux environment in any of the following
Any Utilization of version control tools and application development tools such as Jira, SVN, GIT, IntelliJ, NetBeans, etc. are required.
Provide application development liaison support between Business Analysts and Operations Units, Database Administrators, System Administrators, and end-users for program specifications and program documentation.
Administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field OR Equivalent combination of education, certificates, and work experience.
4 years of experience in any of the following:
Design, development, and deployment of Web Applications
Design, development, and deployment of Argos Applications
Design, development, and deployment of Oracle/Linux solutions relative to legacy application code.
Experience in system development life cycle (SDLC) execution including planning, system analysis, system design, implementation, integration and testing, deployment, and maintenance of moderate to complex solutions is preferred
