Department Overview: (Warehouse and office environment)
The job is part-time, 20-30 hours per week (variable), in the evening, with variable days.
Hours may be flexible to accommodate schedule with manager approval.
Under direct supervision, primarily provides general warehousing duties to support the warehouse team. Specific duties may include arranging of product, staging supplies, assisting with phones, and assisting with daily various tasks to support operations. Specific task training will be provided by Warehouse staff.
Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in:
High School, OR
Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours), OR
Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)
Ability to work independently within established guidelines and use good judgment in making decisions
Ability to be a strong team member in a positive and productive manner, support the team in achieving individual and group goals and objectives
Ability to work and interact with a variety of staff in a respectful and collaborative manner
Organizational skills and careful attention to detail
Must be able to read and write English and have basic mathematical skills.
Must be able to maintain compliance with organizational guidelines and policies
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of warehouse experience and two years of customer service experience
Working knowledge of hospital materials management distribution systems
Medical supply familiarity, knowledge of OHSU systems, and medical terminology
Understanding how to set min/maxs; experience using handheld counting devices; forklift training
