Computer Programmer - School of Engineering - (20001123)
This is a grant-funded, limited term position for 1 year with possibility to be extended.
The Center for Applied Brain and Cognitive Sciences is looking for a computer programmer to review and modify programming systems in VR and AR environments. This will include encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs.
Analyze and plan projects: prepare work flow charts and diagrams, encode project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language
Write and compile programs in a variety of languages
Confirm program operation by conducting tests, modifying program sequence and/or codes, revising and updating programs as required
Prepare documentation/reference for users by writing operating instructions; maintain historical records by documenting program development and revisions
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-3 years of related experience.
Programming expertise in several languages.
