The Desktop Support Technician II is responsible for the advanced support of the user community at the Keck Medicine of USC hospitals and clinic locations. They will also provide tier 2 support to other I.T. departments (Desktop Engineering, Networking and Cerner) in resolving advanced system and user issues. Lastly, they will assist in the training of new hires and overseeing the work of level I technicians.
Minimum Education:High school diploma Associates degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum Experience/Knowledge:Minimum of four (4) years of IT experience with at least two (2) year of Desktop Support experience requiredExperience with or exposure to the following:â¢Operating systems: Windows 7, 10, OS Xâ¢Office Productivity Software: Office 2010 and 2016â¢Cerner â¢Footprintsâ¢KronosRequired License/Certification:Fire and Safety Certification.
