The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment Communications is responsible for the development and implementation of robust, multi-channel, segmented marketing communication plans that are designed to convert best-fit graduate students through the admission pipeline and engage them throughout the entire student lifecycle for the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. The Assistant Director will report directly to the Director of Enrollment Management, but will work closely with the Director of Communications and Media Relations and collaborate with Syracuse University’s Division of Marketing and Communications. The Assistant Director will have a hands-on role in all aspects of content creation, deployment, and engagement strategies to support Maxwell's Strategic Enrollment Management Plan while following established university brand standards, governance and approach.
The Assistant Director must possess a combination of creative, analytic, and technical skills to understand the student lifecycle behaviors and expectations, and to tailor messages that respond to their needs and interests in ways that lead them to apply, enroll, and successfully complete a Maxwell graduate program. This position requires both strategic thinking and action, including email building and utilization of available technology/systems, writing and other content development, data analysis and reporting.
